Servicon Systems Inc.’s groundbreaking Mahdesian Learning Center and Client Innovation Hub is a laboratory for field-testing new practices and home to the Servicon Academy and Servicon’s proprietary Certification Program.

The award-winning, contemporary Learning Center and Client Innovation Hub, designed by architect Edward Ogosta, AIA, is Culver City’s first LEED-New Construction Platinum project. Remarkably, the building has a smaller carbon footprint than that of a Toyota Prius. The Center embodies our commitment to training a smart, engaged workforce and providing unique services to our clients.

THIS BEAUTIFUL FACILITY IS A RESOURCE FOR OUR CLIENTS, PARTNERS AND THE LARGER COMMUNITY TO USE THE FACILITY FOR EVENTS, TRAININGS, OFFSITE MEETINGS, AND EXCITING, TEDX-STYLE PROGRAMS.

LEED-NC

The LEED-NC Platinum Mahdesian Learning Center & Client Innovation Hub is a model for the way all buildings should be envisioned today.

Its design and construction demonstrate that, even at a modest scale, a full-building renovation with premier sustainability upgrades is achievable at reasonable cost. It incorporates all types of materials, flooring types, corrugated metal, stainless steel, chrome, glass and aluminum for training purposes.

The Mahdesian Center incorporates various strategies to meet the stringent requirements of LEED-NC Platinum certification, including:

U.S.Green Building Council - LEED USGBC
  • Rooftop- and carport-mounted photovoltaic panels
  • Low-power lighting
  • A high-efficiency mechanical system with recovery modules
  • Solar-powered electric vehicle charging stations
  • Drip-irrigated, native landscaping
  • 'Cool roof' membrane that reflects solar radiation and super-insulates the building

SUPERVISOR CERTIFICATION

The Servicon Academy Supervisor Certification is the single most important training and development program in our organization.

Despite the common emphasis on technical training of cleaning practices (still an important part of any training curriculum), Servicon chooses to focus its greatest concentration of training efforts on the area of greatest leverage – the Supervisor.
